The Pueblo Creative Corridor’s First Friday Art Walk festivities begin at 5 p.m. on July 1. Stroll the sunny streets of downtown Pueblo and visit more than 35 art galleries, restaurants and businesses in the Creative Corridor. First Friday Art Walk activities are free.

Mesa Junction District
- Featuring live music from Natasha Cowger of November Sky at 100 Broadway Avenue.
- Artisan Textile Co., 113 Broadway Ave.— Presenting the work of abstract painter Maggie Rose McIndoe.
“Make and Take” old-fashioned pompoms, just in time for the 4th of July in red, white and blue!
- Broadway Cup 'n Cork, 100 Broadway Ave.— Featuring the landscapes, portraits and wildlife images of painter Maria Westy Bush, a former art teacher and current “ranch wife” whose portfolio includes pieces for the Colorado Division of Wildlife.

Union Avenue Historic District
- Featuring live music from Dan "Lazzmaghn" Lazzarini, Jewel Tones and Just Us at the corner of Union Avenue and C Street.
- Pueblo Arts Alliance Studios, 107 S. Grand Ave.— The HUB Gallery will host a closing reception for the Spotlight on Pueblo exhibit, during which pieces from 40 Pueblo artists were installed at the Colorado State Capitol in Denver from April through June. The reception will be held from 6 to 9 p.m.
- -Bridged By Design Studios will host an evening of local jewelry designers. Meet and greet with the artists and have your photo taken at the Bridged By Design Photo Booth!
- Bite Me Cake Company, LLC, 223 S. Union Ave.—Presenting black and white landscape photographs from youth photography camp “Landscape Photography: Ansel Eyes,” hosted by CSU Extension-Pueblo County and the Department of Social Services. Students’ work will be available for purchase.
- Collective, 102 S. Victoria Ave., Suite 110—Featuring the Mingle Market! Collective will fill the whole Riverwalk sidewalk with food trucks, local vendors and live music!
- JOHN DEAUX ART GALLERY and Turf Exchange Visual Arts Center, 221 S. Union Ave.— The John Deaux Art Gallery will continue the archival silver print show A Postcard From Ansel Adams with live music by Nuthatch Pants. Henry Miller’s floral photograms will be featured in the Turf Exchange downstairs while Tom Boyd performs on his Marxophone.
- Southeastern Heritage Center & Museum, 201 W. "B" Street—Artists Diana La Morris, Cheryl Scott, Kathy Chavez, Sally Lincoln, Mo Keenan-Mason and Linda Cates will host an opening reception of Painting Safari, their artistic expressions of Africa. Live music by Sunday Strings.
- Steel City Art Works Gallery, 216 S. Union Ave.—Showcasing the work of featured artists Gary Stueve, Lynn Chapman, and Bob and Deb Sweeney. Let their work’s WINTER theme cool you off as summer starts taking hold of Pueblo! Refreshments provided.
- Studio 123, 123 S. Union Ave.— Showcasing painted screened work “flat and in the round” by Lisa Bailey and gypsy spirit clothing and jewelry by Sandy Lasher.

Downtown Area/Main Street District
- Bingo Burger, 101 Central Plaza—Featuring live music from 6:30 – 8:30 p.m.
- Damon Runyon Theater Company, 611 N. Main Street—Presenting the musical Avenue Q. Purchase advance tickets by calling 719-564-0579.

After Hours
- kadoya gallery, 119 Central Plaza—Opening night of PUEBLO MODERN RETURNS: “Celebrating a Modern 4th of July.” 8 p.m. - Midnight.
